Homicide report for LA Jan 2007 - May 2011

This morning as i was browsing the LA times i came across the homicide report. I was relieved with the fact that there have been hardly any homicides in the last 5 years ! How many homicides are there in Cape Town every year i think a lot more than that ! Let me check !

Yeah i was right .. from April 2009 - April 2010 there were 3444 recorded ( whose counting the unrecorded ) murders in Johannesburg and 2300 homicides in Western cape  .
