Yesterday I went exploring around the city and took loads of photos ! I then had a skype call with my lawyer who informed me about my O-1 Visa and how long it will take. It will cost 3500$ and i will get in around 3 months which is perfect as we need to work and make mney before we move to this big expensive city.
The requirements for the O-1 visa are
a portfolio with job captions of what the job was for
exhibitions you have had in the past with writeups about it, photos and the possible invite
6-8 killer letter of recommendations
any wards you have won
big clients you have had - your published work
A good CV with international clients
Press writeups and interviews
A person that is well established in the photography business like a photography professor or
someone high up to sign a letter saying that they think its good for you to move to the States to further your career.
So i have all of this and we are ready to rock and roll !
