South of France

We decided to get out of Dubai and head to the south of France to my parents farm. Its situated 3 hours from Bordeaux and 10 minutes from Villeneuve Sur Lot. In dubai at the moment you cant go outside for longer than 5 minutes at a time, and for a baby .. its just not possible. Besides the fact that the heat in dubai is unbearable , it also happens to be ramadan celebrations, which sucks for all westerners as you cant drink, eat or smoke outdoors or anywhere public. Some restuarants close , while others build temporary walls around the outside so no one can check inside. Besides the heat and ramadan , there is also zero work over the holy month of ramadan as it falls over the August holiday month. So its either sitting in our non opening window apartment doing fuck all , or having a killer time in France, eating good food, drinking wine and spending time with the family ...
