Today we started our big search for our new home in NYC....
For us its pretty difficult to decide on an area cause we dont know NY at all, so we left it up to the real estates to help us pick an area that was safe, in manhattan and that was large enough for us to breath.
Our first apartment we went to was close to central park , but had no elevator so we had to walk up 6 flights of stairs with a pram ... this was not cool and i thought i was going to have a heart attack by the time i reached the top. It was a duplex apartment with a rooftop terrace ... cool but a little small and of course the 6 flights of stairs was a big con. Our second apartment we looked at was on the corner of Broadway and west 143 street... Its very upper westside but the area was cool and the apartment is to die for . Its got a doorman intecom system, gym, massive shared rooftop deck with sundeck chairs etc ,
its a gigantic apartment with walkin wardrobes , a office area, loads of windows and a terrace ...
A little bit more expensive than we hoped for , but we have put in a request to take it so lets hope everything works out and the landlord accepts our offer...
