backstage on a filmset. day1

in the beginning of October I got asked to shoot backstage footage of the crew while shooting a tourism commercial for Ras Al Khamah. Ras Al Khamah  is not the prettiest of the emirates, but the commercial did a great job at highlighting the best elements of the emirate. Ras al Khamah is also a more reserved muslim emirate, which is something that always pisses me off while shooting, as i keep on getting told to cover my tattoos, legs , cleavage etc .. which is a difficult one while shooting outdoors in 40 degree weather. Besides that irritation i had loads of fun and here below is the footage of day 1 of 6.

this was our first location , shooting at the oyster farm. They shot one of the guys on a pier cleaning the oysters and seeding it to create a pearl

Last day in Paris

While i was in paris shooting my 24 people 24 hour project, i worked on a few other shoots as well. This is one of them. i was lucky to meet this amazing family while shooting with my friend Nirit in the Luxembourg gardens. They had lived in Paris for around 10 years and were sadly leaving and moving back to Israel the following day. So i decided to capture there last day in Paris .
